Aircraft Leather Restoration & Re-Dye
Cabin leather is the first thing passengers see and the last thing they forget. UV exposure at altitude, body oils, dye transfer from clothing, and years of use take a toll on even the finest hides. Our restoration process brings aircraft leather back to life — from basic conditioning to full re-dye.
A full leather restoration can add tens of thousands of dollars to an aircraft's resale value, while costing a fraction of a re-upholstery. Performed on-site at your hangar or FBO across the Chicago area.
Benefits of Professional Aircraft Leather Restoration
Aviation detailing specialists understand that cabin leather is one of the most visible — and most valued — elements during an aircraft appraisal. Proactive leather care protects your investment from the inside out.
Increased Resale & Appraisal Value
Brokers consistently cite cabin leather condition as a top-three factor in private jet valuations. Professional restoration adds thousands in appraisal value at a fraction of re-upholstery cost.
UV & Altitude Protection
Aircraft cabins endure intense UV exposure at altitude. Our conditioning treatments include UV inhibitors that prevent fading, drying, and premature cracking caused by high-altitude solar exposure.
Color Restoration & Uniformity
Body oils, dye transfer, and sun exposure create uneven wear patterns. Our re-dye process restores uniform color depth across every leather surface in the cabin.
Aviation-Grade Products Only
We use only pH-balanced, aviation-approved leather chemistry — never automotive products. Every cleaner, conditioner, and dye is formulated specifically for aircraft interior detailing applications.
On-Site at Your Hangar or FBO
No need to relocate your aircraft. We perform all leather restoration on-site at FBOs across the Chicago area, minimizing downtime and keeping your private jet detailing schedule on track.
Expert Craftsmanship & Documentation
Every restoration includes documented before/after photography for your maintenance records. Our detailed findings reports help owners and maintenance teams track leather condition over time.

Zero-Waste Process
Our leather restoration process generates zero liquid waste. All cleaning, conditioning, and re-dye products are applied by hand with microfiber applicators — no spraying, no overspray, no chemical runoff. This makes the entire process fully hangar-safe and EPA-compliant at every Chicago-area FBO.
Combined with our dry wash exterior methods, we can perform a complete interior leather restoration and exterior detail in a single visit — all without a drop of water on the hangar floor.
Conditioning: 1–2 hours. Restoration: 3–6 hours. Re-Dye: 1–3 days (multi-coat cure required). Re-dye projects may require hangar access for extended cure time.
