Aircraft Preparation Before Coating
Preparation determines how well a coating bonds and how good the finish looks once it is sealed in.
Wash & Decontamination
Complete exterior wash using our low-water, hangar-safe process, followed by removal of bonded contamination, exhaust staining and bug residue.
Paint & Surface Assessment
We check the paint system, its condition and surface compatibility. Degraded, peeling or failing paint cannot be coated and is flagged before any work is quoted.
Correction Where Needed
Oxidation, swirls and light defects are corrected first, because the coating locks in whatever finish is underneath it.
About paint correctionPanel Preparation
Panels are wiped down to remove polishing oils and residues, and areas that should not be coated are masked before application.
Application & Cure
The coating is applied panel by panel following the requirements of the specific System X product being installed. Layers, flash times and cure times depend on that product and on hangar temperature and humidity — we plan the schedule around them rather than a one-size-fits-all timeline.
Controlled Application
Applied to prepared panels in sections so coverage and leveling can be checked as the work progresses.
Cure Time
Hangar space may be needed during the cure period. We confirm how long the aircraft should stay out of weather and unwashed before work begins.
Inspection & Aftercare
Final inspection under light, then washing and maintenance guidance so the coating performs as intended.
